We, Global Greater Desert LLC ( GGD LLC) was established in the year 2005 and with in Short span of 7 years has established an enviable client base among the Public and private sector organisations and other institutions in the Sultanate of Oman .We mainly deal in institutional & industrial catering and Allied Facilities Management Services like Laundry, Pest Control ,Cleaning and Waste Management .
GGD is presently focusing on improving its operational process and are ensuring optimal utilization of all its resources to enhance customer satisfaction by working on SQI (Service Quality Index).
Our operational procedures are under HACCP Guidelines and we are an ISO 22000 certified Organisation.

Employee Hygiene

We make sure that employees maintain their personal hygiene standards from receipt of Material till the food are served and good hygiene practices are maintained in meat/fish processing areas.

Sanitation and Cleaning

We make sure that the food we serve is protected from contamination from microbiological, chemical and physical hazards and maintain the equipment and work environment in a clean and tidy manner.

Good Hygiene Practices

We make sure that Meat and fish processing is done on separate areas as well as chopping boards and fish, lamb and chicken are good-hyniene-practicemaintained separately and are checked for colour, texture and smell. Processed foods are stored in food grade plastic bags.
Sea food is stored in deep freezers and processed as per requirements.
Cold meals, salads, sandwiches are prepared in cold preparation area.
Kitchen area is well lit and ventilated and pest control treatment is carried out as per schedule with good quality chemicals and kitchen waste is disposed of properly.
We ensure that calibration and verification of measuring and monitoring equipments are carried out at defined intervals.
We ensure that we identify and evaluate the supplier of raw materials based on their past performance and quality of the product is maintained.
We also ensure that emergency response procedures are in place for possible food poisoning, power shut down resulting in raw material damage of frozen and thawed /refrigerated items and employee mass absence etc.
Customer satisfaction is in the forefront of our operations and a customer complaint register is kept at all locations and corrective action is taken.
We reward our employees every month based on their performance and appraisals.
